Project - Young Volunteers Knutsford (volunteers)
As part of this project, we have a youth steering group. As a member of the steering group, you will work with the CVS Management team to plan the project - to make sure that it is doing what young people need it to do. You will learn and develop amazing skills in marketing, planning, and community development work. Steering group meetings will be held by zoom after school/college - around 4.30pm. We will meet for up to 2 hours every other month and we will offer support and consult you in between. You need to live, or attend school in Knutsford or Chelford and be aged between 14-18.
Parental Consent
This section will need to be completed by a parent or legal guardian of the young volunteer if they are under the age of 16.
By ticking the box below, you are confirming that you are the parent/legal guardian of the young volunteer named above and as they are under he age of 16 you give consent for them to participate in the Knutsford Young Volunteers Project run by us at CVS Cheshire East.
Data Protection - CVS Cheshire East will store your data and use this in the delivery of the Young Volunteers Knutsford Project. The data will also be shared with Cheshire Community Foundation, the body funding this project. We may also share your data with other voluntary organisations in securing volunteering opportunities for the project participants. We will not share your data with any other organisations without your consent.

The Government has announced that Cheshire East will move into Tier 2 - High Alert from 2nd December 2020.

The full guidance is included in the link above, however the guidance still allows for volunteering and support groups to meet face to face if needed.

The National Youth Agency (NYA) as the Professional Statutory and Regulatory Body for youth work in England has, in consultation with Public Health England and the Health and Safety Executive, developed youth sector specific advice and guidance. The guidance will support local providers, leaders, volunteers and young people to remain safe when engaging in youth sector activities. It is intended to guide the youth sector in opening up services for young people at the right pace and time.
