This fund aims to support flexible, unrestricted grants for small grassroots organisations that are working to make a positive difference in local communities, particularly those working to support marginalised or vulnerable groups.

Henry Smith Foundation – Career Ready Fund

Objectives of Fund

This multi‑year funding is for charitable organisations working with young people with learning disabilities within the UK. It supports the delivery of high‑quality, job coach‑led careers education in mainstream and SEND school settings. The fund focuses on early, structured support that helps young people build real‑world experience and move towards paid employment.

The Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust

Objectives of Fund

The Trust operates a three-year rotation system, with different fields of interests being funded each year:

· In 2025, the first two rounds focused on Access to the Arts. The third and fourth rounds focused on Refugees and Asylum Seekers.

· In 2026, the first two rounds will focus on People experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The third and fourth rounds will focus on unpaid carers.

Bentley Advancing Life Chances Small Grants Programme

Objectives of Fund

The fund aims to support vulnerable, disadvantaged or under-represented communities in areas where Bentley has a corporate presence by providing small grants to charities working with local people.

Value Notes

Grants of between £2,000 and £4,000 are available.

Grants must be spent within 12 months of award.

Delamere Dairy Foundation

Objectives of Fund

The funding is intended to support the work of charities and organisations whose purpose fits with the objects of the Delamere Dairy Foundation for the benefit of the public, namely:

· The advancement of agriculture and of environmental protection.

· The advancement in life of young people by developing their capabilities so that they may mature as contributory members of society.

· The relief of financial hardship.

· The advancement of education.

· The relief of sickness.

Following a strategic review of the Trust's grant-making programme, applications will be considered for work under the following two objectives:

· Enabling children and young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds to thrive and achieve their potential in education and employment.

Objectives of Fund

This fund aims to support projects and activities that align with the Foundation’s priority focus areas:

  •  Autism support.
  • Church outreach, including churches and Christian charities delivering projects to meet a social need in their community.

GSK Community Health Programme

Supporting small charities tackling health inequalities

For charities with income between £20,000 and £150,000

Running alongside the GSK IMPACT Awards, the programme supports small charities tackling health inequalities in their communities. It is open to registered charities that are at least a year old, located and working in the UK. Up to 10 charities will receive up to £10,000 plus access to training and development valued at £5,000.
