Welcome to the wonderful world of small charity finance.
In this session, we will go back to first principles and revisit the what, why, how, who and when of small charity finance.
Small charity finance needn’t be a mystery. Really, we have just three jobs. We need to get the systems and processes right, we need to take good decisions and we need to lead with financial confidence.
We don’t need to be experts in finance to build a financially sustainable small charity. We need to be able to produce reliable numbers, know how to read them and be intentional about where we are headed.
In this traditional broadcast session, we go back to first principles and revisit what it is that we talk about when we talk about charity finance.
Come and congratulate yourself on what you are already doing and find what you can do next to lead your charity to a more financially sustainable and financially resilient future.
We look at what good looks like in small charity finance:
· The finance cycle and the tools we need in place to be on top of the numbers
· The financial reports we need and how they can supports financial decision making
· The different between financial sustainability and financial resilience
· Top tips and common elephant traps
What you can expect:
· Slides
· Examples
· Optional Q and A
