Welcome to the wonderful world of small charity finance.

In this session, we will go back to first principles and revisit how everything we need to know about our annual independent examination.

Year-end is often considered a stressful time of year clouded in mystery. But it doesn't have to be this way. At its best, the independent examination can be a good opportunity to get our finance ducks in a row and stride confidently into the future. In this session we go back to first principles and de-mystify it all.

What we cover:

· The why and the what of independent examinations and where it sits in our compliance diary

· A step by step guide to what we need to do to prepare for an independent examination

· What we can expect from our independent examiner

· The difference between an independent examination and an audit

· How to find a good independent examiner

What you can expect:

· Slides

· Examples

· Optional Q and A

This session will be of interest if…
