An initiative of Platypus Digital, supported by Catalyst, the free service matches charities up with one of more than 300 volunteer experts for an hour of free advice.

Simply submit your question and within 48 hours you will receive an email matching you with an appropriate expert, who will provide advice and possible signposting on to additional support resources. 

It’s that simple! No catch; no follow-up emails: just one hour of completely free advice on your chosen topic. No question is too broad or too niche; whatever you need to know, Digital Candle will find someone who can help!

Digital Candle is a free service which matches up anyone working for a charity or civil society organisation and in need of digital, data and design advice, with a volunteer expert who can provide it. Charities ask a question on the site, and are matched with one of 300+ experts for free advice and support over a one-hour call.

It’s that simple! There is no ‘catch’: charities won’t be added to any mailing lists or contacted by agencies wishing to sell their services. They simply receive one hour of free advice on the topic of their choice, from an expert who has volunteered their services to help charities better understand digital.
