The Ashley Family Foundation is an independent family Trust Fund set up in 1986, in memory of Laura Ashley, the designer, who died the year before.

The Foundation awards funding to charities and community groups for good small-scale arts and community projects in England and Wales that fit with the Foundation's ethos of protecting rural communities and encouraging participation in the arts.

It welcomes proposals from community museums, organisations, farms and gardens for funding for arts subjects

Funding available is intended to support Christian charities and churches that are serving their local community. Projects which spark interest and passion are favoured.

 Our Community Grant Scheme is available to constituted not-for-profit organisations and local authorities. Grants of between £10,000 and £75,000 are available to create or improve buildings or outside spaces for the benefit of the community. Warburtons Community Grants provides small grants up to £400 to support charitable organisations towards broader activities which improve Health, Place or Skills for families in their community.
