Create Positive Changes In Your Neighbourhood

CVS through the Families Together project can help plan, coordinate and facilitate a volunteering day in your community and help you make an impact on local lives. CREWE - Saturday 14th September: Christmas Toy Appeal - Help us with the planning - free lunch
We at CVS are looking for insights and ideas from local families on how we might promote and raise awareness of this years CVS Christmas Toy Appeal within the local community.
The CVS Christmas Toy Appeal has been running for 9 years now and supports families and children in Cheshire East that would otherwise go without at Christmas. Volunteer your time, bring your family along to our meet up and support the planning of this fantastic festive community project.
Children will also be able to help us with our poster designs and have some of their artwork featured in our promo materials! Complete the form below or contact Mark (details also below) to confirm your attendance.
CREWE - Saturday 19th October: Christmas Toy Appeal - Crewe Alex FC Match Day Collection - Watch the game for free!
Spend a couple of hours collecting cash donations from the Alex fans before kick-off then stay and enjoy the game for free. This is in support of the CVS Christmas Toy Appeal, providing toys and gifts to those in our community that might otherwise go without at Christmas.
The collection will start at 1:30pm and end at kick-off at 3pm. You and your family will be provided with collection tins, high vis volunteer vests and following a brief safety briefing from the chief steward will be placed in various collection points around the Crewe Alex grounds. When the game kicks off at 3pm we will all meet in the main stand to hand on our collection tins, after that you and your family are free to stay and enjoy the game against Swindon Town.
Its will be a fun-filled afternoon to kick off the festive season. Families wanting to participate should either fill out the form below or contact the Families Together Coordinator Mark Smith directly on 01270 763 100 or email mark.smith@cvsce.org.uk to register your interest.... COME ON YOU ALEX!
