The fund is intended to support organisations from the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector with projects that will make a difference to the residents and communities in Cheshire East, including local green spaces and community infrastructure. Organisations can apply for 75% of projects costs up to a maximum of £15,000; the deadline for which is 14.02.2025.

The Masonic Charitable Foundation has four target groups for funding: Early Years (0-5), Domestic Abuse, Special Educational Needs & Disabilities, and Dementia. The Large Grant fund is restricted for specific projects with defined goals and budgets, and may be spent on, for example, salaries, equipment, training, monitoring and administration. Large grants range from £10,000 – £60,000 per year, for up to three years. Although grant recipients should report on how they used the funding. Small grants range from £1,000 – £5,000 per year, for up to three years. The total amount of the grant requested must not exceed 20 per cent of the total income of the charity, averaged over the past two years.
