The Healthy Young Minds Project, commissioned by Cheshire East Council, is a five year programme that will offer accessible, inclusive support to children and young people in Cheshire East, helping to build resilience and achieve positive emotional wellbeing.

The upcoming general election presents a crucial opportunity for charities. This hub page is here to equip you with helpful information and tools. The resources include voluntary sector manifestos, letter templates for contacting local candidates, Charity Commission guidance along with links to NAVCA and NCVO resources and more to help you navigate this significant period.


The fund is intended to support organisations from the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector with projects that will make a difference to the residents and communities in Cheshire East, including local green spaces and community infrastructure. Organisations can apply for 75% of projects costs up to a maximum of £15,000; the deadline for which is 14.02.2025.

The Masonic Charitable Foundation has four target groups for funding: Early Years (0-5), Domestic Abuse, Special Educational Needs & Disabilities, and Dementia. The Large Grant fund is restricted for specific projects with defined goals and budgets, and may be spent on, for example, salaries, equipment, training, monitoring and administration. Large grants range from £10,000 – £60,000 per year, for up to three years. The full list of eligibility criteria can be found on the website provided.

Although grant recipients should report on how they used the funding. Small grants range from £1,000 – £5,000 per year, for up to three years. The total amount of the grant requested must not exceed 20 per cent of the total income of the charity, averaged over the past two years.
