About the Role

The Supported Lodgings Co-ordinator role is a busy and varied one. You will be responsible for ensuring all young people referred to the service, are assessed, supported and placed effectively with their hosts. In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, training and management of hosts, as well as promoting the service to key stakeholders, and supporting young people directly.

The Community Grant Scheme from Crewe Town Council makes donations and allocates funds that directly benefit the community within the Crewe Town Boundary.

Community organisations can apply for up to £2,500.00 for local projects and activities. There are 3 windows to apply within. The closing date for each window is:

  • Sunday 8th September 2024
  • Sunday 22nd December 2024
  • Sunday 9th February 2025

18 - 22.5 hours per week, to be agreed with the successful candidate. This role will be on a Fixed Term Contract of 12 months with the view of it being extended if funding allows.

This role will be predominately covering the south/mid areas of the county and therefore due to the current group offering, the hours will be on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with some flexibility outside of group times. There is an expectation that all employees cover our monthly Family Sessions (first Saturday of each month) on a rota basis.

The hours are predetermined by our current group offerings and so most of the hours are pre-set to:
- Mondays 9.30am -12.30 covering group with travel
- Tuesdays 9.30am – 2.30pm (this will include time at the office for meetings)
- Wednesdays 9.30am -12.30 covering group with travel
- Fridays 9.30am -12.30 covering group with travel.
