Join a CVS Network

Why join a network?

Engage with others in the community through CVS-led sessions. These are normally 45min sessions, around a specific subject. The aim is to learn, develop and share skills and insights with those working and operating in the Cheshire East voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector. We run networks under the five key areas of support we identified in our 2020 sector consultation. These five areas are the ones that VCFSE organisations said were most relevant to them. 

  • Governance 
  • Fundraising & Impact Management  
  • Business Planning 
  • Volunteer Management  
  • Communication & Marketing 

We’ll also hold other training, information and networking events around key emerging issues relevant to the sector. These could be in subjects such as; 

  • Social Value  
  • Social Return on Investment  
  • How to make more from corporate volunteering requests

The mailings and communications you will receive as part of a CVS network will be centred around the activities, news and announcements of the respective network. This may include meeting dates and invites, agendas, resources and presentations, also feedback shared comments and ideas from the network on current or upcoming topics.

Each network serves as its own mailing list, independent of other CVS networks and the CVS eBulletin. Click the corresponding box as to which network you wish to subscribe to, you will only be sent information regarding that network. You can unsubscribe from these via the unsubscribe link found in each mailing. Alternatively, you can enquire about and request changes to your CVS mailing subscription status by emailing enquiries@cvsce.org.uk. Our privacy policy can be found at the foot of each webpage. Each network's mailing list is monitored, and individuals that may be subscribed to a network not relevant to their position (ie non-trustees in the Trustee Network) will be contacted and removed.
