Cheshire Community Foundation are delighted to announce a new grant programme, delivered in partnership with the Office of Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire and Active Cheshire

This programme will fund projects delivering early intervention and diversionary activities for young people at risk of involvement in Child Criminal Exploitation and Serious Youth Violence. Applicants can apply for up to £25,000 for costs delivering work with Children and Young People aged 0-18yrs. All grants must engage Children and Young People through physical activity or sport in the Cheshire, Warrington, and Halton areas.

Organisations can apply for:

  • Salaries and related costs
  • Workforce development and training
  • A contribution to overhead costs, directly related to the project, including venue hire.
  • Non-capital equipment costs
  • Travel and expenses

There are two tiers for grants:

  • Tier 1 Grants: These grants will be for £5,000-£10,000 and will focus on reaching new groups of young people or expanding in to new areas with existing provision.
  • Tier 2 Grants: These grants will be for £10,001-£25,000, and will focus on developing new, targeted provision in areas of high need
