Cheshire Young Carers support children and young people aged 6-18 who care for or live with a parent or sibling suffering from a physical disability, mental health problems or substance misuse. We provide activities & trips that help to improve the health and well-being of our young people and reduce the negative effects of their caring responsibilities. We cover Cheshire East & Cheshire West & Chester areas focussing on delivering key objectives such as physical health, emotional wellbeing, education, independence, participation, personal and social development. We ensure young carers receive proper help and support at key transition stages in their lives so that they can have the same life chances as their peers, ultimately preparing them for adulthood and ultimately employment.
