Keeping children in touch with parents following separation.
Our values are:
Ensuring children are safe at all times
Child centred within the family, where parents work collaboratively and there is a reduction of conflict
Promoting equality, celebrating diversity
Independent and impartial
Respecting individuals, preserving confidentiality
Valuing and supporting voluntary service
Sharing skills and expertise to achieve better outcomes for children and their families
Westwood House Child Contact Centre offers a neutral place where children of separated families can enjoy contact with their non-resident parent and sometimes other family members, in a comfortable and safe environment.
The Centre is run by a team of trained volunteers managed by the Coordinator. We welcome interest by prospective new volunteers in this stimulating and challenging role. References and a full DBS check are mandatory as part of the recruitment process. We are affiliated to The National Association of Child Contact Centres. Membership number 282/1
