We are a small friendly club, established in 1970. Our club provides support and swimming sessions for persons with physical and / or mental disabilities; and for persons recovering from serious illness (e.g. hip operations, cardiac surgery). Sessions are informal and relaxed. We have a tutor / coach and volunteers who are able to support both on a 1-to-1 basis, as well as group activity. This helps our members increase their confidence in the water, improve their swimming technique and expand their social interaction with others. Our emphasis is on having a fun time, in a relaxed atmosphere set in a secure environment. We are fully inclusive. We meet most Mondays 18:45 - 19:45 @ Sandbach Boys School swim pool (except for Bank Holidays, August and Christmas/New Year). Sessions cost £3 per person, carers £1.50.
