This new role with flexible hours requires an innovative person to raise the profile and increase the use and therefore income of Macclesfield's Hidden Gem, a registered charity and not-for profit organisation where Memories are made.
As a Trustee, and volunteer at Morton Hall Community Centre, in Macclesfield you will have shared responsibility for:-
- ensuring that Morton Hall complies with its governing document, legal requirements and Charity Commission regulations.
-working effectively with other committee members to run the organisation efficiently
-stategic development
-setting and maintaining the organisation's ethos and values

Skills and Qualifications Required:

Interest, commitment and enthusiasm is just as important as experience
The ability to work as part of a team is essential
Basic computer skills such as email, Word and Excel are essential
Attendance at bi-monthly Management Meetings

If yes, for what and at what rate?:

Re-reimbursement of approved purchases, and mileage for attendance at relevant events and training outside Macclesfield at the rate of 45p per mile.

What support is available for the volunteer?:

Induction and support from the Chair and other Committee Members.

What training is available for the volunteer?:

Induction and training from the Chair and other Trustees as appropriate in understanding our aims and objectives, governing documents, and policies. Also the Charity Commission's Essential Trustee document, and confirmation of the expected outcomes, and our unique selling points, and pricing strategy. Training in Lone Working, Health and Safety, and when available, attendance at other relevant training courses.
