Serving a three year term, this very important role will be based at home planning and overseeing the many aspects of this registered Charity and Company limited by guarantee.
Previous experience of this role would be an advantage for this dynamic role which encompasses the following examples:-
-Leadership to ensure that the charity has maximum impact for its beneficiaries by planning meetings etc.
-Govern by working and updating policies and procedures..
-Be efficient and effective
-Able to commit time
- Holding to account the Volunteer Management Team of Trustees so that each Trustee fulfils their duties and the aims and objectives are maintained
- Chair meetings, and appoint Trustees and other Volunteers

Skills and Qualifications Required:

Life Experiences and Expertise ideally from a Business or Education background
Enthusiasm, time and patience and a willingness for Morton Hall Community Centre to be Sustained For the Future.
Good Customer Care Skills
Willing to Network with other organisations
Good Organisational and Time Management Skills

For travel outside Macclesfield to attend training and other Events, and for other authorised expenses, and purchases made on behalf of Morton Hall.
