The Role.
To take control of the financial aspect of the group
Banking money taken using the policies and protocols set up by the group
Account keeping
Preparing annual accounts for auditor
Benefits to the volunteer.
The volunteer will improve their knowledge of local history and Elizabeth Wolstenholme Elmy’s work in particular. Build up working relationships both externally and internally making new contacts and friendships along the way.
Gain a real feeling of self-worth and achievement knowing they are making a real difference in the community and helping to fund a lasting memorial to this wonderful woman.
Location.
The work will be carried out more or less in the volunteers home.
They will have the support of Elizabeth’s Group and Congleton Partnership.
